Prudence arrived on 12 April 2009
A morning appt with Dr Ang @ TMC, we had schedule for an operation for delivery the next week as u are still in breech position (I had strong feelings u wont be turning down anytime soon), we went shopping wif (ur)Grandma... Tampines 1 the newly open shopping mall... lots of food, baby stuffs.
Went to Aunty's place for a break, and headed back to TPY for dinner the Taiwan Porridge.
It's almost midnight, i'm tossing and turning not able to get into sleep. Suddenly i felt a gush of water coming from below... i panicked and jump out the bed... i was leaking uncontrollably... i was thinking to myself... Prudence is on her way, quickly wake Daddy up from he long gone sleep.
I stood next to the bed for a good 5 mins before i realized i need to hurry and go for a bath! (wont be able to bath after delivery!) We packed and headed down for a cab to the hospital, (it's almost 1am) Reached, settled down, when through registration... i was being sent up the a ward, nurse is preparing me for the OT, while Daddy is still downstairs settling registration.
After changing, I was being pushed to the OT, and got my Epidural anesthesia done, i was shaking uncontrollably, its not due to the temperature but the side effect of the Epidural. Soon Dr Ang came in talking (which i could not remember a thing of wat he said) He was asking me if i did feel any pain after pinching my thigh... (no feeling at all) the next thing i remember is Anesthetist came over and said " i'm going to push ur tummy from the top, so Dr Ang will be able to grab baby out".... and WWeeaahhhhh!!! (baby's crying) Prudence Came to Play! Only den Daddy came in to join me... and watch the nurses weight u, measured u, clean u up.
Lastly we both a being brought back to the ward, where Grandpa, Grandma and Ah Yi is waiting anxiously for us, its already 2plus am in the morning.
